Perhaps the end of “Hotober” has arrived, as dawn temperatures dipped into the mid forties over a suddenly still ocean. The wind-stippled Atlantic could easily pass for a back bay as the sun peaked over a thin strip of clouds at the horizon.

After a powerful nor’easter hammered the area overnight, a brief respite coincided with the sunrise, as a small opening in the cloud cover allowed the sun a quick wink.
Another post storm dawn arrived through the transitioning from warm sepia tinted views to high chrome and cool.
Happy Halloween to both the tricksters and the treaters!
